Second firing of the heavy grogged clay gave me an array of sandy colors and a new surface texture. Still looking for the name of the project though. Working title is: Muted Houses

Stoneware, biscuit fired, h=25 to 39cm
I am doing trials for my new clay project. The working title is: Muted Houses. These are the results of the first firing. I used a very grogged stoneware clay. I like the textured, down-to-earth appearance of these pieces.
